Mitchell David Cornel Drout

Another exciting year for Mitchell, who discovered how much he loves baseball. He watched parts of nearly every Red Sox game leading to the second World Series win of his lifetime, and he knows every player by sight. Going to a PawSox game and seeing Jacoby Ellsbury before he was called up was a huge thrill. Mitchell also appears to be the natural athlete in the family. He can hit a baseball very far (left handed!!!) and can throw well. The picture below is his very first catch with his first glove, though that skill is taking some time. Mitchell had a great time in Florida visiting his Uncle Scott and Aunt Kim, going to Disney and Sea World and spending a week at Sanibel, where he caught his first fish (and one of the only fish we caught all week). School is going well: Mitchell is one of the biggest kids in his class and is getting ready to move up to Pre-K in April, where he'll be with his best buddy, Malcolm. Mitchell also loves going to college and spends nearly every Tuesday down at Wheaton and loves to visit with his pal Sam (Prof. Coale to everyone else).
